When we met with Laura & her mom at a Starbucks months before their April date, I knew their Los Encinos wedding was going to be something special! Both Laura & Angel are so sweet and have so much fun being together. All of my favorites from their couple’s portraits are just them laughing with each other. They are the cutest!
Laura’s welcome questionnaire was hands down the best we’ve ever received. Seriously, I had tears while reading about how much she loves Angel! I could tell their love was REAL and am thankful that they asked us to capture their wedding day. I’ll share a small snippet here of what Laura had to say about Angel… “I joke with him that he’s wanted me since high school and was persistent in pursuing me all these years, but the truth is too that I secretly hoped we would always end up together because he is, and has been, my person.”
True love is always more fun to capture. But! We also got to shoot an amazingly gorgeous wedding at one of our favorite venues – Los Encinos! From the exquisite bouquets & center pieces by Julio with Oakleaf Florist to the Mexican tile/coaster favors, this day was a total Classy-fiesta. (Y’all SA peeps know what I mean LOL.)
Now enjoy some of our favorites from Angel & Laura’s wedding and let it inspire you to add some color to your life!
LOVE these out of the ordinary bridal shoes in red paisley velvet!
We could not decide which tiles to use for the bridal details – I wanted every single one!!
Laura carried her Grandmother’s handkerchiefs down the aisle and we were able to incorporate them into details shots as well!
Angel & Laura exchanged letters & gifts before the ceremony. So many sweet tears- us included!
After dancing & singing at each other for 3 straight songs during the reception, I could tell where Laura got her personality! Laura’s dad told me during the reception that’s it just an honor to be her father. How sweet are they?! Favorite Daddy-Daughter first look to date.
This was right after the officiant asked them to turn around and look at all of the people that love & support them most. Such a sweet ceremony moment!
One of the many reasons why we love Los Encinos is the open ceremony site. We’re able to capture ALL of the angles during ceremonies without being too distracting. Photographer’s dream!
Laura’s Sister/Matron of Honor, Sarah, surprised her with a rendition of the “Sisters, Sisters” song from White Christmas. They did this at Sarah’s wedding too so it’s tradition!
We got to sneek out of the reception for some night portraits with the gorgeous arbor at Los Encinos!
